三个想考进六扇门当“公务员”捕快的小人物，因考场黑幕考试失败。他们偶然接到护送朝廷要犯回京的任务，完成任务就可破例进入六扇门，于是他们开始了护送之旅。途中得知朝廷要犯的身份为当今皇上，而且同时有多方势力追杀皇上，他们需要运用智慧和高强的武艺将皇上安全护送回京。。Photographer Greg Nolan meets Bernice, and loses both his job and his apartment. However, Bernice manages to get him a new apartment, but it is so expensive that he has to get two full-time jobs. Nolan has trouble finding time to do them both without his bosses finding out.。
