本片讲述了在七十年代，一对有情人共同救助了一直受伤的白鹭，却因误会而分割两地，女主角刘芳独身一人抚养两人的女儿长大，一次意外令刘芳而身亡。二十年后，男主角李强回到了厦门找寻爱人，却只等到了刘芳身亡的消息。失去爱人的李强，回到了厦门，与女儿刘念一起经营白鹭生态养殖基地，缅怀与爱人刘芳的感情……。一名就职于美容店的女孩崔夕（岳辛饰）想要摆脱自己陷入泥潭的生活，可换来的却是死亡。爱慕崔夕的保安梁晨（宁桓宇饰）无意中发现崔夕的死似乎与十年前杀害他好兄弟刘杰（袁川航饰）后潜逃的凶手有关，随着梁晨深入地调查，真相逐渐浮出水面......。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children.
