故事讲述心理治疗师Alexander Strauss最近刚失去了妻子，在他理智且善解人意的表面下，是自己还未深入正视的痛苦和失去。一名连环杀手囚禁了Alexander，并提出了不同寻常的要求：抑制他的杀人欲望。但是，在剖析此人思想的同时，他也在应对自己压抑的心魔所带来的冲击，这一过程也许和他的囚禁处境一样危险。。Haunted by the death of his father and other psychological traumas, Daniel (Roberto Scorza) returns to the home where he was raised. Faced with intense emotional scars, as well as physical -- which are realized by the years of self-harm depicted by the cuttings adorning his body -- he enters the bathroom to begin a journey of self-exploration, self-mutilation and quite possibly...。因忍受不了男友Moses（任贤齐）的平凡，阿Mi狠心与他分手，塞翁失马焉知祸福，Moses在老人院做义工时，与怪脾气老头蛤蚧王成为忘年之交，后者死后，给他留下巨额遗产。蛤蚧王的此举招致其律师Allen的不满，他在夜总会发泄时无意中将此事告诉了小姐Didi（张柏芝）。 为将Moses钓到手，Didi使出浑身解数，无奈均不奏效。发现Moses是绝种好男人后，Didi对他动了真心，两人开始热恋，不久，Allen将Didi的原来身份相告Moses，令他异常伤心，此时，阿Mi又前来要与他复合。。
