宋辽太平时期，原本是秘密组织“凤火军”培养的特工唐紫烟被安插在京都皇城司任职，在她欲隐退与夫君周乾安安度此生时，周乾安却被凤火军抓走，成为他们胁迫唐紫烟的筹码。为了救夫，唐紫烟被迫接受新任务：刺杀来访的北朝特使皇太弟。期间周乾安被凤火军射杀命丧身前，唐紫烟决心扳倒凤火军，佯装不为所动继续深入下一步刺杀计划，却惊觉接头人竟就在身边。最终唐连同皇太弟携手做局险胜凤火军，平息了一场祸乱，京都重归太平。。Heaven is now happily married and ready to settle back in her hometown.
