The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。35岁的林妙在彻底看清母亲轻视自己独爱哥哥、对自己不断索取的真相后，毅然选择离开。面对家人为利益不惜设局陷害，她与丈夫联手反击，最终用法律武器让母亲和哥哥自食其果。。
